Daily Log 9/16 and 9/17/09

I’m playing catch up.  Here’s details from the last two days:

Wednesday, 9/16/09

Meals and Workout

1.  syntrax nectar protein drink, green drink, organic coffee with organic whole milk

workout – 12 minutes kettlebell practice.  2 handed and 1 handed swings, cleans and presses with 8kg.

2.  1 cup strawberry kefir w/scoop Miracle Reds, almond blueberry crunch

3.  1 egg white, 1 egg omelet with roasted red pepper, zucchini, red onion, feta cheese, green tea

4.  Mrs Mays nut blueberry bar

5.  a small bowl of lentil and collard green stew

6.  girls’ night :).  spinach dip with baby carrots and pretzels, homemade chicken cheesesteaks on mini potato buns (I had 2), a glass of red wine, a homemade peanut butter and jelly bar.  I felt sick after this.  Not sure what it was but I am guessing it was the pb&j bar.

 

Thursday, 9/17/09

I am still getting to know the ins and outs of my new iPhone and must have accidentally turned off the alarm on Tuesday morning.  So sprints will have to be postponed until Saturday morning.

Meals and Workout

1.  syntrax nectar protein drink, green drink, organic coffee with organic whole milk

2.  1 cup strawberry kefir w/scoop Miracle Reds, almond blueberry crunch

3.  1 egg white, 1 egg over a small corn tortilla with shredded mexican blend cheese, salsa, green tea

4.  spinach dip with pretzels

workout – kettlebell practice.  5 minutes TGU with 8kg followed by 10 minutes of 1 and 2 handed swings and a few cleans and presses.  I felt really good about my cleans today.  I think my form is getting better.  Before you know it I’ll be able to remove those wrist bands.  😉

5.  leftover lentil collard green stew, slice of toasted wheat ciabatta bread with smart balance spread

6.  plain greek yogurt with blueberries, raw walnuts, squeeze of honey, nut and seed crunch bar

Tomorrow morning is lifting.  The alarm is set!
