Daily Log 9/25/09

Finally Friday!  Got up and got it done!

Here’s my day:

Meals

a.m. – workout

1.  immediately following – syntrax nectar protein drink, brown rice cake.  After shower – green drink, organic coffee w/organic whole milk

2.  1 cup plain kefir w/scoop Miracle Reds, serving almond blueberry crunch

3.  4 oz homemade chicken salad (rotisserie chicken, mayo, celery, dried organic cranberries, lots of black pepper) in an ezekial wrap, a bosc pear, green tea

4.  Mrs Mays berry nut bar, handful veggies fries, and unfortunately a handful of candy corns

5.  3 oz salmon burger, 1/4 cup white rice, roasted asparagus

6.  plain greek yogurt, blueberries, raw walnuts, squeeze of honey, nut and seed crunch bar

 

Workout – New Rules of Lifting for Women, Phase 4, workout B

2×8

wide grip DL from box – 85, 90

alternating – bulgarian split squat 30, 30 and underhand grip lat pulldown 80, 80

alternating – reverse lunge from box w/forward reach 15, 15 and db prone cuban snatch 8, 8

superset – swiss ball crunch, reverse crunch, lateral fexion, and prone cobra (2 minute hold)

Tomorrow is relaxing!  I am planning on making spaghetti and meatballs with the grass fed and finished ground beef I purchased at Cherry Grove Farm last Sunday.  I hope my kids eat it!  We are going to open a nice bottle of red wine our neighbor made and I got some olives to go along with that.  🙂  Also on the agenda, more roasted butternut squash soup.
