Training Week 11/15 – 11/21/09

This week was much better than last week.  I got back to work feeling well rested and no longer fighting a cold. 

Here’s my training week:

Sunday 11/15 – Randy Couture MMA barbell complex – 5 rounds with a 35 lb barbell.  Time – 16:37.  Chin ups.

Monday 11/16 – Treadmill sprints – 1 minute w/2 minute recovery for 12 minutes.  More chin ups.  Time – 25 minutes.

Tuesday 11/17 – New Rules of Lifting for Women, Phase 6, workout A. Time – 24:13.

Wednesday 11/18 – kettlebell practice.  swings, c&p, goblet squats, and a few snatches thrown in for fun. Time – about 15 minutes.

Thursday 11/19 – kettlebell practice.  TGUs, swings.  Time – 10 minutes.

Friday 11/20 – New Rules of Lifting for Women, Phase 6, workout B.  Time – 17:52.  Then threw in one round of the matrix just because I felt like it.  Time 2:24.

Saturday 11/21 – OFF

I put the times of all my workouts this week so you can see that I don’t spend a whole lot of time working out.  You don’t have to.  Focus your intention, visualize, and execute.  It’s that simple. 

Next week, I will be doing New Rules 2x, kettlebell sessions 3x, and sprints 1x.
