Training Week 12/20 – 12/26/09

This was my first week back after taking a week off and it felt great to be back! I felt rested, strong, and ready to take on the week. Unfortunately, by the end of the week this cold that keeps coming and going came back again. If I don’t sleep and eat right, it really affects me. Maybe more than the average person, so I’m not surprised that with Christmas eating, I’d come down with a cold yet again.
Here’s my week:
Sunday, 12/20 – kettlebell practice. 5 minutes 10kg TGUs. 15 rounds of 25:15 (16kg two handed and 12kg hand to hand) swings. Total 374 swings. A few 10kg clean and press.
Monday, 12/21 – New Rules of Lifting for Women, phase 6, workout A, 1 round of the matrix thrown in.
Tuesday, 12/22 – kettlebell practice. 5 minutes 10kg TGUs, 100 (16kg) swings
Wednesday, 12/23 – treadmill sprints, chin ups, prone jackknives
Thursday, 12/24 – New Rules of Lifting for Women, Phase 6, workout B.
Friday, 12/25 – OFF
Saturday, 12/26 – OFF
Next week is the start of Phase 7 of New Rules and it looks TOUGH! This phase is only 3 weeks and then I’ll be done with the program. Stay tuned for my Christmas recap post coming this week.
