Training Week 2/21 – 2/27/10

This was a great training week.  Stayed on track despite so many things going on in my personal life.  I’m not more or less busy than the average person.  What sets me apart is a commitment to healthy living.  Eating well and exercising. 

Here’s my week:

Monday, 2/22 – A tough 45 minute spin class

Tuesday, 2/23 – 10kg clean, push press, and pull ladders.  5 ladders, 5 rungs.  150 total push presses.  100 (16kg) swings.  Total time – 46:04.

Wednesday, 2/24 – OFF

Thursday, 2/25 – 20 minutes of alternating – 3 barbell squats, 5 TRX atomic push ups, 20 (16kg) kettlebell swings, 20 seconds rest.  Managed 11 rounds.  Totals: 33 squats, 55 TRX atomic push ups, 220 swings.

Friday, 2/26 –  10kg clean, press, pull ladders.  3 ladders, 3 rungs.  36 presses total and only had to push press 3 reps.  Improvement!  10 minutes of alternating 12kg TGU singles and 30 (16kg) swings.  Totals: 36 presses, 5 TGUs, 150 swings.  Time – 29:13

Saturday, 2/27 – OFF

Next week, I’m going for a few PRs, so we’ll see if I can make that happen.
