Training Week 5/3 – 5/8/10

Week 11 of Enter the Kettlebell is now complete!  The end is near! 

This was my week:

Monday, 5/3 – 45 minute spin class

Tuesday, 5/4 – ETK, light day.  10kg clean, press, pull ladders.  5 ladders, 3 rungs (60 reps).  8 minutes of 16kg swings, 20 reps, 20 seconds rest.  180 swings.  Time 35:51.

Wednesday, 5/5 – OFF

Thursday, 5/6 – ETK, medium day.  10kg clean, press, pull ladders.  5 ladders, 4 rungs (100 reps).  10 minutes of 16kg swings, 25 reps, 10 seconds rest.  300 swings total.  Time 46:48.

Friday, 5/7 – Treadmill sprints.  1 minute sprints to 10 mph.

Saturday, 5/8 – ETK, heavy day.  10kg clean, press, pull ladders.  5 ladders, 5 rungs (150 presses).  4 minutes of 20kg swings, 15 reps, 20 seconds rest.  80 swings total.  Time 49:57.

Next week, will complete this round of Enter the Kettlbell.  Next Saturday is also the Run a Muck 5K!  Stay tuned for my recap post and hopefully some pictures!
