Training Week 7/4 – 7/18/10

This is actually a two week update, but the first week was my week off.  I so needed the rest but it’s been hard getting back in my routine. 

Sunday, 7/4  – Sunday 7/11 – Sleeping, eating well, and enjoying the week.

Monday, 7/12 – 12kg clean, press, pull ladders. 3 ladders, 3 rungs.  10 rounds this circuit: 10 (20kg) swings, 20 skips rope, 20 secs rest.  Time 29 minutes.

Tuesday, 7/13 – OFF

Wednesday, 7/14 – 20 minutes of: 2 (95lb) deadlifts, 1 (12kg) TGU, 10 (20kg) swings, 20 seconds rest.  9 rounds completed.

Thursday, 7/15 – 20 minutes of:  1 (12kg) clean, squat, push press, 2 (12kg) snatches, 20 jumps rope, 25 seconds rest. 14 rounds completed.

Friday, 7/16 – 1 hour spin class

Saturday, 7/17 – 12kg clean, press, pull ladders.  3 ladders, 3 rungs.  10 rounds of: 10 (20kg) swings, 5 squat jumps, 20 seconds rest.  Time 24:17.

I am finally feeling back in the routine.  I notice if I take too much time off I tend to go to bed later, wake up not feeling rested, then rely on coffee to help me out.  Add exercise back and I feel much better.  If all else fails, force yourself for a few days and then it will get easier.
